How to Stay Focused on Your Goals

Last week we spent some time focusing on setting powerful intentions (Didn’t see that one yet? You can check it out here.)

This week, I made you a guided meditation to help you stay focused on your goals, and follow through with your highest intentions for yourself.

stay focused

When there’s too much to do, or the stress of daily life creeps in, your body goes into “fight or flight”mode.

In this space, it’s almost impossible to focus, and it takes a lot more energy to get things done.

The things that matter most to you may fall to the wayside, and at some point you might notice that months have gone by without having a chance to take care of what’s most important to you.

This might be a specific task that needs to get done, a general desire to do things that make you feel grounded and centered like meditation and yoga, or the steps you need to take to invite in what you really want to create in your experience of your life.

Today’s meditation gives you a way to re-center and refocus when you get off track, so you can align with what truly matters to you.

This meditation will help you…

…reset your nervous system from fight or flight into rest and healing mode

…collect yourself into the present moment

…get more done with less energy (counter-intuitively, by focusing less on your to-do list)

Once you learn the two parts to this meditation, you can repeat it in any moment when your focus or your energy begins to fade.

Follow along with today’s video to stay focused, re-center and energize your intentions…

Another powerful meditation for focus in general is this brain balancing technique that I do every day.
