Yoga wrist stretches with Janine: support your joints, hands and heart

Whether we garden, work at the computer, do headstands, or write novels, we all use our wrists.

Today, I have a special guest, Janine Melzer, who’s going to lead us through some stretches to brighten up the joints of the wrists and arms, and get our heart energy flowing freely.

Janine has been teaching Forrest yoga for 18 years, and I love taking her classes.

You can do these yoga wrist stretches standing up, sitting at your computer, or sitting cross-legged on the floor. See if you can feel it all the way into the front and back of your heart.

    Thanks! I’ve been restoring my hands/wrists/neck for the last month, just got a bad case of carpal tunnel and swelling. I loved these stretches and felt immediate relief.

      I’m so glad you enjoyed the stretches Annette! And so sorry to hear that you’ve been suffering with wrist pain. I hope you keep feeling better. Janine often starts her classes with these stretches and I always love them. I find them very centering in addition to being helpful with the wrists : )
