How to Release Grief from Your Body

Fall is the season of grief and grieving, have you noticed this in your life?

release grief

Grief is a transformative emotion.

It helps you transition through change, whether that change is a loss, or a new life circumstance.

Even changes we’ve been working towards require a grieving process when they show up.

Grief helps us move from what was to what is.

Grief is only useful to us when it can move.

When we don’t fully process a change, grief can get stuck in the body.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, grief is associated with your Lungs, with your skin, and with your immune system, so focusing on allowing grief to move through you is important for many aspects of your health.

Today’s meditation will lead you through a visualization and some breath-work based in Qi Gong to help you process and release grief in your body.

It will help you let go of grief around experiences of…

…loss  (of a loved one, a home, a friendship…)

…transition (a new job, a move…)

…growth (becoming more of who you are, letting go of old habits and patterns)

Follow along with this two-part process to release grief from your body.

Be sure to take deep breaths, and turn off other distractions as you move through the meditation.

Thank you Amberlee, for sharing this meditation I look forward to going deep within. 🙏🏻💕
I facilitate energetic healing bodywork to help clients release grief and trauma stuck within their connective tissue. I’m interested in using meditation techniques alongside manual release techniques to achieve a greater conscious connection with what’s held inside.

    • Hi Ren, so glad to have you here, and I hope you’re enjoying the meditations. Your work sounds beautiful and healing, thank you for sharing it with the world. XO ~Amberlee
