How to Quiet your Mind

Can you think of any moments when you had a hard time quieting your mind?

Maybe you were trying to sleep, or trying to do yoga, or just noticing that your mind was racing all day.

quiet your mind

When this happens, it can be frustrating because you notice it’s happening, but can’t quite get it to stop.

Last week, when I was trying to sleep, I had about two lines of that “Call Me Maybe” song stuck in my head. On repeat. For what seemed like forever.

That loop played until I remembered to use BodyTalk tools to help me out. A true life-saver- I was finally able to relax and sleep.  (I don’t have any idea how that happened….that song is from over 5 years ago…Thanks brain! haha)

If you’ve ever been in a similar situation, or just enjoy having tools to help you settle deeper into a sense of stillness, today’s video will help you quiet your mind.

The video will lead you through 3 steps to help you get grounded and centered so that the chatter of the mind fades away. A great tool for when you want to…

…get to sleep at night

…access your own intuition

…sit for meditation

…feel grounded and settled

When you need to quiet your mind, just remember these 3 steps:

  1. Brain
  2. Heart
  3. Body (feet)

(That will make more sense after you watch the video ; )

Be sure to tap along, and let me know if there’s anything else you want to see in upcoming videos!
