How to Help your Body Detox Itself

On Wednesday, I talked bit about the best way to truly cleanse your body time of year.

I went over why diet alone can’t get at the underlying factors that need to be balanced in order to feel healthy and vibrant.

I mentioned my month of restriction, where I felt like I had the flu the entire time because my digestive system wasn’t primed for the pace of the detox.

I also talked a bit about Beth, who suffered through a juice cleanse that wasn’t a good fit for her body.

So, as I guess you can tell, I don’t think focusing on diet alone is the most efficient, gentle, or effective way to feel deeply cleansed.

Instead, the best thing you can do to feel vibrant, light, and clear this time of year, is support your body’s natural ability to cleanse itself from the inside out.

Your Liver is your best ally in detoxing your body. It’s does this job for you 24/7 turning toxins into harmless substances, all the while balancing your blood, aiding your digestion, and generating anger to keep you motivated on your path in life.

Today, we’ll let go of some of the ways we get in our own way: When we stifle our feelings, we stifle our Liver.

    I took the basic BT training last fall in Calgary Alberta Canada. I have not been able to find many people to practice on – but those that have tried it really like it.
