Take a moment to consider your lungs…

Your lungs are your friend.

They help you breathe. They distribute oxygen and energy throughout your body. They collect and release waste from your cells. They’re good that way : )lungs inhale

They also help you with the equal and opposite processes of acceptance and letting go. As you breathe in (accepting) and out (releasing), they help you move through life.

So, when someone tells you to take deep breaths when you’re having an intense experience, it’s not just cliche advice, it actually helps you deal with what’s going on.

This acceptance and letting go also mirrors the way we grieve. Your lungs are one of the main places that grief settles when you haven’t been able to process it.

This week’s video will help you support your lungs in all of it’s many roles.
