How to let go of the past

Some days the weight of the past can be really heavy.

how to let go of the past

Thankfully, your body usually does a really good job of processing your experiences and releasing the things that don’t serve you.

Your lungs, and diaphragm in particular help you take deep breaths, which is one of the main ways your body helps you move through life and release what you don’t need.

The downside is that when really difficult things happen– you lose someone you love, you have an unexpected setback, a relationship ends-these areas of the body can get overwhelmed, and emotions can get stuck there.

When emotions get stuck in the chest and lung area, it makes it harder for you to take deep breaths, and this makes it harder for your body to do this job, causing a downward spiral of being able to let go of difficult experiences.

This video will help you gently release emotions stuck in the body so you can return to your natural state of being able to breathe through your experiences and let go of the parts of the past that no longer serve you.

Breathe and tap along to help your body remember how to let go of the past.
