Balance the brain hemispheres with Cortices: a stress-relieving, healing technique

I’m so excited to share the Cortices Technique with you.  If you only learn one new thing this month, make it this!

balance the brain hemispheres

While it may look simple, this quick do-it-yourself technique will balance the brain hemispheres, causing improvements in your health, well-being, and most immediately noticeable, your stress levels.

Note: there’s been an update to how we tap in BodyTalk: Now, you tap over the head, heart, **and then abdomen**

This harmonizes all of the “three brains:” head brain, heart brain, and gut brain.  You can add the tapping over the abdomen after tapping on the heart to any of my videos : )

The Cortices Technique improves communication between the hemispheres of the brain.

Everything going on in the body is reflected in the brain on some level.  So, the better the communication within the brain, the more efficiently it can address what’s going on in the body.

I highly recommend making balancing the cortices a part of your daily life.

Tapping it out on yourself (and your loved ones) will help keep you even-keeled throughout the day, allow you to approach your tasks with greater clarity, and reduce emotional turmoil.

Some benefits of cortices are:

  • Improvements in overall health

  • Immediate stress reduction

  • Enhanced focus and clarity

  • Help with falling asleep

  • Help with foggy head

  • Balances the nervous system

  • Resets and updates brain

  • Improves memory

  • Helps with headaches

  • Helps you be more present

I hope you enjoy giving it a try.

You can fit it into your day by tapping it out in the morning when you wake up, at night before you go to bed (especially if you have trouble sleeping), or if you experience any emotional upset or physical shock.

In the comments below, let me know if you noticed any changes after balancing your brain.  The effects are cumulative, so the more you do it, the more improvements you’ll notice.

And if you find the technique helpful, feel free to share it with your friends : )

If you enjoyed this, you’d probably like this video that helps you recover from stress.

Wow! This helped with stress really fast! I will try to use this technique daily to see where it takes me. Thank you for sharing so nicely! Now I will replay the video and do the exercise together with you again to help me calm down even more. Thanks again! 🙂

    • Hi Ida, I’m so glad you found this helpful. It really is such a great tool to have. The trick now is to remember to use it when you need it most (headaches, stressful situations, etc) because sometimes it seems so simple of a solution that it doesn’t come to mind (this happens to me too!). When in doubt, tap out cortices : ) Hope you continue to enjoy it!
