How to Reset your Relationship to Sugar with Ease (+ Special Offer!)

In the Spring, I always feel called to do a bit of a cleanse…

All of a sudden I feel a bit sluggish and bogged down, and my skin starts to feel kind of hot.

break sugar addiction

This lines up with it being the Season of the Wood Element, the time of year when your Liver is most active in its cleansing and detoxing roll.

And this usually means that it’s time to take a break from sugar.

Taking a break from sugar always helps me feel much more mentally clear, vibrant and energetic.

But sometimes, taking a sugar break is easier said than done.

In fact, studies on rats, poor little guys : ( , have shown that sugar can be more addictive than cocaine!

And sugary foods have a way of creeping up on you. You might start by making a batch of cookies after dinner one night, and then before you know it, it’s a chocolate croissant with breakfast, a strawberry tart with afternoon tea, and a chocolate bar after dinner! Oops!

So while sugar every once in a while isn’t the end of the world, its always good to take a break for now and then to reset your relationship with sugar.

And because sugar is so addictive, instead of focusing on what foods to eat when, like some sugar cleanse advice sticks to, it’s important to have support to break the subconscious factors that keep you addicted.

And that’s what today’s meditation will help you do.

This meditation (and the series I invite you to join below!) will help you re-approach your relationship to sugar and make it easier to take a break.
